Scotto & Associés welcomes Jérôme Commerçon as partner responsible for the firm's tax department. Previously a counsel at Latham & Watkins, he joins the firm alongside three colleagues: Raphaël Bagdassarian, Laurence Gautier and Loïc Muller.

For over 13 years, Jérôme Commerçon has been working on LBO tax matters and more generally on the tax aspects of M&A transactions for listed and unlisted companies, as well as for their directors. With varied and complementary profiles and skills, the department will also act in inheritance tax and tax litigation matters.

The new partner is already very familiar with Scotto & Associés: he worked at Latham & Watkins with Noémie de Galembert partner in charge of the Corporate Litigation department.

Lionel Scotto le Massese, the firm's managing partner, is delighted with his arrival:

"With his experience of working among the best teams of tax experts in the market and with the technical ability and rigour for which he is renowned, Jérôme is a perfect fit for the firm's DNA. He also shares our human values and our collective spirit, which is so central to an organisation like ours. We are delighted to welcome him into our firm. More generally, his arrival is part of the firm's corporate-M&A development strategy."
