Scotto Partners Promotes Two to Partner

Adrien Badelon and Franck Vacher have been named partners of Scotto Partners, effective 1 January 2020. They will contribute their skills to further strengthening the firm’s private equity platform, alongside Lionel Scotto le Massese, Nicolas Menard-Durand, Claire Revol and Isabelle Cheradame.

Scotto Partners is a pioneer and leader in management packages (otherwise known as management equity programs or MEPs) in France. The firm, which has been a true talent incubator since its creation, continues to promote its most promising associates, upholding a tradition already in evidence with the earlier promotions of Claire and Isabelle to partnership.

These promotions recognize Adrien and Franck's contributions to the firm's development over the last few years and strengthen its identity (unique in the market) as a one-stop shop able to handle all legal, tax and financial aspects of negotiating an MEP.

Adrien joined Scotto Partners in 2011 after practicing 4 years at Latham & Watkins, also in the private equity team. He is a graduate of ENS Cachan, agrégé in Economics and Management (2004) and holds Master 2 degrees in Business Law and Economics (2005) and Banking and Finance Law (2006) from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Franck has also practiced law since 2007 and joined Scotto Partners in 2013 after starting his career at Cleary Gottlieb (2007-2009), followed by Freshfields (2010-2012). He graduated from ESSEC (2004), holds a Master 2 (Research) in Business Law from Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas (2006) and an LL.M. from Columbia University (2010). He is also admitted to the New York Bar.
